Helianthus Advising was approached by Randy Tarpey to assist with the launching and growth of MCC Tax Credit (First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit.) This business serves as one of many small companies that Randy Tarpey runs. We were brought on to complete a full website upgrade as well as an overhaul to two LinkedIn profiles. Next, we started work on content creation in the form of blog writing services and digital marketing in the form of social media marketing.
Our project started in July of 2020 with the website revisions. During this time, we completely upgraded the website – taking it from a one-page site to a detailed and search engine optimized five-page site. Next, we took Randy Tarpey’s LinkedIn account from good to perfect with a LinkedIn audit and upgrade. Finally, we also improved the LinkedIn of Miranda Silfee – the person who would be personally leading this new business.
After all of the content upgrades, August 2020 brought the start of our social media marketing campaign and content writing campaign. We began posting three times a week to Facebook, engaging and pinning to Pinterest, and offering three posts a week for Randy to utilize on his LinkedIn account. In addition, we created one 500-word blog post each week designed to give quality advice to prospective customers while also helping to boost the organic ranking of the newly launched website.
